Through out your craps-betting life, you will likely have more non-winning encounters than successful times. Accept it. You have to understand how to wager in the real world, not in dream land. Craps is constructed for the participant to lose.
Let us say, after 2 hours, the ivories have whittled your bankroll down to 20 dollars. You haven’t observed a smokin’ hot roll in ages. Although squandering is as much a part of craps as acquiring a win, you cannot end up but feel crappy. You ponder why you even thought about heading to las vegas in the first place. You were a rock for two hours, but it did not work. You are looking to win so badly that you are deprived of control of your clear thinking. You’re down to your final 20 dollars for the session and you have little fight remaining. Leave!
You must never capitulate, never bow out, never think, "This sucks, I’m going to lay the remainder on the Hard 4 and, if I am defeated, then I’ll depart. But if I succeed, I will be back where I started." That’s the most brainless thing you can do at the conclusion of a losing game.
If you can not acknowledge losing, you have no reason to be wagering. If you cannot stomach losing a particular game, then bow out of that session and call it a night. Do not piss your $$$$ away on a horrible wager wishing to hit it huge and get your cash back all at once.
If it is a horrible night and you are deprived of a lot rapidly, then acknowledge defeat and take your money with the ten dollars, 15 dollars, or 20 dollars that you have remaining. Use that left over 20 dollars, have a beverage in the cocktail lounge, listen to the live music. Put the money in a nickel electronic poker game and perhaps get a one thousand-coin win for $50. Put it in your pocket, find your spouse, and spend some time with them. Don’t give up. Do something other than piss your $$$$ away on a non-winning proposition wager. Do not throw in the towel.
